Om-Tat-Sat; ‘Daata’ is in my remembrance!
Sometimes a thought comes to mind about what are our fundamental qualities. We, as souls, are one of the five basic truths of this creation. So, what qualities do we have? Do we have some specific qualities of the God or do we have all His qualities?
The key to realise this depends upon the level of consciousness. When we achieve a state of total consciousness, we realise that we have all the qualities of the ‘Daata’. Because we are a part of ‘Daata’, we must have the qualities of the ‘Daata’ – Just like a drop of water must have the qualities of the water. You take a drop of water from the sea, and after analysing it in the laboratory, you will find that it will have some properties (some qualities) of the sea. You take a gust of wind or a particle of air, it will have the qualities of the air. You take a handful of soil or a tiny article of soil, it will have some properties, some qualities of the earth. There will be some form of the whole earth in that small soil particle in your hand.
Similarly, being part and parcel of the ‘Daata’, we must have qualities of the ‘Daata’. And, when we are in the highest level of consciousness, in a state of total consciousness, we have all the qualities of the ‘Daata’.
We are mini God, because the qualities of the ‘Daata’ are present in us but in small quantities.
The material nature comprising of 24 elements is a temporary manifestation and is completely adjusted to produce complete resources for the maintenance and sustenance of the whole universe but has its own time fixed by the energies of the ‘Daata’. Despite this, we still interfere in ‘Daata’s’ material nature and try to control it even though we know that we are not the Supreme Controller.
The ‘Daata’ is the supreme controller, and we are controlled. The position of the ‘Daata’ is of Supreme Consciousness. The ‘Daata’ is not materially contaminated or conditioned, because he does not take birth. But occasionally, He enlightens someone with His energies based on their past deeds, which we call Enlightenment or “Gyanodaya’.
Further, there are two psychic divisions of material consciousness – One of the Creator and the other one of the Enjoyer. We are both the creator and the enjoyer, being part and parcel of the ‘Daata’, but not as the Supreme Creator. Being part of material creation, we are both the creator and the enjoyer through the body. We build things to enjoy them because nothing can be created if there is no enjoy in creating them. No matter how temporary that enjoyment is.
But in creating things, we forget that we are not ‘Daata’, we are not the Supreme Creator. We are only the creation of the ‘Daata’. Though we are eternal part of his whole creation but still how can the creation be the creator? As a creation, we can only cooperate with the creator in creating something. Creation can only help. Being conscious part of the creation, we can make positive contributions by creating things to cooperate with the Supreme Creator. And, that’s precisely what happens, that’s exactly what happens.
In the form of ‘Jeev’ (soul), we are the superior nature of the ‘Daata’. The ‘Daata’ is free from material consciousness. The ‘Daata’ is the Supreme Consciousness. He is beyond enjoyment and non-enjoyment. He is indifferent to happiness and sorrow. But still we should cooperate with the ‘Daata’ in every possible way and try to please him despite knowing that Her is beyond the feeling of happiness and sorrow or enjoyment and non-enjoyment. But this feeling and intention of trying to please the ‘Daata’ is necessary in whatever we do. Only then we can enjoy things. Only then our little creation of things can bring happiness for us. May we never, even by mistake, obstruct the creation of the ‘Daata’ through our creations or actions. Only then will we be able to truly enjoy things. Cooperation in the creation of the Supreme Creator should be the reason for our joy. That is the true joy, that is the real happiness.
I wish you very best in your spiritual journey!
