In the quieter moments of life, when the world’s distractions disappear, a deeper question often arises deep inside you: Who am I, really? Beyond the physical body, mind, and emotions lies a deeper essence—the soul. This essence connects the ever-changing part of us to the divine, the infinite, the universe. Searching for the spirit has been a cornerstone of spiritual traditions across cultures and centuries. Understanding and caring for yourself is a path to self-discovery and a journey to deeper peace, purpose and oneness with the universe.

What is the Soul?

The soul is the eternal, divine spark within every living being. It transcends the physical and material, existing beyond time and space. While definitions may vary among spiritual traditions, the soul is universally recognised as the core of our being—the source of life, consciousness, and individuality.

  • In Hinduism, the soul (atman) is eternal and a fragment of the universal soul (Brahman). Liberation (moksha) is achieved when the soul recognises its unity with the divine.
  • In Christianity, the soul is seen as immortal, created by God, and destined for eternal communion.
  • In Buddhism, while the concept of an eternal soul is absent, there is recognition of a deeper essence that transcends physical existence, known as anatta or non-self.

Despite these interpretations, the soul is universally regarded as the bridge between the material and the spiritual, the transient and the eternal.
