1. Donation Refund Policy

Sankalp Charitable Trust has introduced a donation refund policy to ensure fair and transparent processing of requests for refunds of donations since digital payments are becoming more common. The Trust expects all donors to be careful and diligent when making donations. However, the Trust acknowledges that donors may change their minds or make donations erroneously.

If a donor requests a refund of the donation, the Trust will investigate the request and try to process the refund. The Trust may also ask for more information or documents, and donors must cooperate in this regard. 

However, Sankalp Charitable Trust is not obliged to make refunds and may, in its discretion, decline any requests for refund of donations, particularly if a tax exemption certificate has been issued.

If you wish to get a refund for your donation made to Sankalp Charitable Trust, please follow the instructions given below.

  1. To request a refund from Sankalp Charitable Trust, you must submit a written request or send an email. Your request must be received by the trust within 15 days from the date of donation. This means the date on which you made the donation and acknowledged it. Please note that this is a strict deadline, and requests received after the 15-day period will not be entertained.
  2. You can donate to the Sankalp Charitable Trust in three ways:
    • Online through electronic payment or other means.
    • By handing over the cheque or demand draft directly to Sankalp Charitable Trust or someone authorised by them.
    • Dispatching the cheque or demand draft to Sankalp Charitable Trust through other means.

To ensure a smooth refund process, please include the reason for the refund and all relevant donation details in your written request. The address for submitting the request can be found below.
Please provide the following information regarding your donation:

  1. The date on which the donation was made.
  2. The amount of the donation.
  3. If the donation was made via cheque/draft, kindly provide the cheque/draft number.
  4. If the donation was made via credit card, please provide the last 4 digits of the credit card number.
  5. If the donation was made online, please provide the Donation ID.
2. Living Dwij – Customer Care

Customers can contact customer care with their order number to cancel an order that has not been processed.
Refunds are credited back to the credit or debit card within 14 working days. Shipping charges are not refunded.

3. Living Dwij – Online
  • When a booking is cancelled, the credit applied is returned to the account immediately. No administrative fees are deducted.
  • No refunds are given for digital products.
  • 50% of course fees plus stay costs are required as an advance payment to make a booking for a residential retreat. No refunds are given.
  • 75% of the course fee is refundable if the student paid the full course fee at DUDES.
  • If an event booking is cancelled less than seven days before the start of the event, a certain admin fee per person is charged. If the group has started or the customer fails to show up without giving notice, the full payment is retained.
  • The refund and cancellation policy for Living Dwij varies depending on the organisation.
  • Offers a 30% refund up to 4 days before the start date of a class or session. No refunds are given after that.

Tatva-Dhyan Sadhana Meditation Session by Param Dwij

The program offers a refund policy as follows: If the cancellation is made two weeks or more prior to the start date of the program, a 90% refund will be given. If the cancellation is made within 10 days of the program start date, a 50% refund will be given. However, if the cancellation is made on the day of the program or after the program’s start time, a 25% refund will be given.

Dwij Yoga Session

Customers can receive a full refund if they cancel more than 4 weeks before the program starts; they will receive a 50% refund if they cancel between 2-4 weeks before the program starts. A 30% administrative fee will be charged for all cancellations and refunds.

4. DUDES Courses and Sessions

Kindly forward a copy of your cancellation email from DUDES online to info@livingdwij.org and let us know which option you prefer:

  • A credit that you can use for any course, Meditation Day, class, and session valid for one year. If you choose a credit, we will give you an extra credit of $10* on your first cancellation. Once the credit is added, you will see it on the MY BOOKINGS / DUDES Registration.  Next time you book, the credit will be deducted until you have a zero balance again.
  • Alternatively, you can have a refund back onto your card for less than $10 to cover administration and credit card fees in accordance with our Terms & Conditions. Please allow up to 28 days for the credit to appear.

How do I cancel?What happens when I cancel?

Please read the following details carefully.

Our sessions, classes, and courses are designed to support meditation and are personal and educational in nature, not intended as therapy, treatment, medicine, or diagnosis.

Mindfulness is about self-acceptance, understanding, awareness, and witnessing. It’s important to note that your Facilitator is not a doctor, therapist, or psychologist, even if they hold such qualifications. They are not there to “fix” you or make you well. If you have a medical or psychological condition, please speak to your healthcare provider for advice.

When can I cancel a booking?

It is possible to cancel your booking up to 24 hours before the scheduled time. However, if you cancel after this period, there will be no refund available.

How do I cancel a booking?

Access MY BOOKINGS and click CANCEL next to the meeting. Confirm cancellation and specify a reason.

What happens when I cancel a booking?

Please note that your bookings will be updated, and you will receive two email confirmations. Firstly, you will receive a cancellation email from Living Dwij Online. After that, you will get a confirmation from Zoom informing you that you have been deregistered from the meeting. It’s important to note that your Zoom link will no longer work, and you will not be able to join the meeting.

If you used credit

From the MY BOOKINGS page, you can purchase credit, which can be used to book any course, class, session, event, or Meditation Day. This will minimise the number of times you need to use your credit card. Please note that the credit must be used within 12 months.

If you cancel a booking, the credit applied will be returned to your account instantly without any deduction of administrative fees. You can view your updated credit balance the next time you visit MY BOOKINGS.

How do I get a refund if I use a credit/debit card, Gpay or PayPal?

As per our Terms & Conditions, we do not offer cash refunds. However, if you send us a cancellation email from Living Dwij, we will credit your account with an amount equal to the cost of your booking. This credit can be used for any course, Meditation Day, class, or session you wish to attend within a year’s time. You can view the credit on the MY BOOKINGS page, and it will be automatically deducted from your next booking until you have a zero balance again. Please note that it may take up to 14 days for the credit to appear in your account.

For instance, if you paid $20 using a Debit Card, we will credit your account with $20 upon receiving your cancellation email.

 

Refund Policy

 

Once you register for the program, we see it as a commitment to attend the full program. The program is much more than just a series of practices; it is a complete process by itself. Only if you go through it in its entirety and apply it to your life you will know what it can do for you. In order to experience its transformational possibilities in your life, we encourage you to complete the whole program.

Program/Event Cancellation by Customer 

  • Please note that program cancellations and refunds will be subject to a 30% administrative fee. Refunds will not be allowed less than two weeks before the program start date. However, you can transfer to a future program within 12 months, subject to a 15% administrative fee.
  • Customers who cancel their program reservation will receive a refund based on the amount of notice given. Refunds will be given as follows:
  • If you are unable to attend a program due to illness, please provide us with a medical certificate from a doctor (“Atest”). We aim to provide powerful transformational tools to everyone willing to participate. Therefore, we will do our best to offer you a replacement seat for one of the upcoming programs. Please note that eligibility for transfer will depend on individual circumstances.
Product Cancellation and Return Policy

How do I cancel an order?

You can cancel your order at any time before it has shipped. Typically, orders are shipped within 24 hours of confirmation.

Can I cancel the order once it has been shipped?

Once an order has been shipped or dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.

How long will it take to process my cancellation request?

Once you request to cancel any item(s) in your order, we will take a maximum of 1-2 business days to cancel the order and initiate the refund process. You will be notified once your order has been cancelled and the refund process has been initiated.

If you choose to have the refund transferred back to the account by which you made the payment, the time period for the refund will depend on the bank’s standard processing time. In case of any delay post confirmation of cancellation/refund, please get in touch with your bank directly.

How will I get my money back after cancellation? What are the modes of refund available?

When you request to cancel an item(s) in your order, we will initiate the cancellation process and refund the money back to the account that was originally used for the transaction. Once the cancellation is completed, the refund will be processed.

What is the Living Dwij’s Return Policy?

Please note that once a product has been shipped or dispatched, it cannot be returned. However, we do accept returns on damaged or expired products only if they are reported upon receipt. To be eligible for a return, the damaged or expired product must be unused and returned with the same packaging material. It is important to notify us of a defective product within 24 hours of receiving it.

How customer can initiate a return if the received product is damaged or tampered with?

It is strongly recommended that you do not accept any shipments if they are damaged. If the shipment is accepted and a product is found to be damaged during transit, please inform us within 24 hours of receiving the product and provide us with pictures of the damaged products.

If, after proper investigation, the product is found to be defective, we will accept the return of the product. We will bear the cost of the product return and replace the product as soon as possible, subject to availability.

Living Dwij holds the rights to intellectual property, which includes:

  • You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, sell, rent, sub-license, store, or re-use content from their site without express written permission.
  • It’s important to note that you are not allowed to alter any copies of the materials obtained from their site. Please refrain from making any modifications to the materials.
  • You are not permitted to use illustrations, photographs, video or audio without accompanying text.
  • You are prohibited from removing or modifying any copyright, trademark or other proprietary rights notices found in their materials.
  • You are solely liable for any damages caused by infringing copyrights, trademarks or other proprietary rights with your submitted content.
  • Their site allows you to save pages for future viewing, even when you are offline.
