Basics of Self-esteem
Purpose of this course:

It is a widely acknowledged fact that stress is a prevalent experience for many individuals, stemming from different facets of daily life such as work, family, health, and finances. The extent to which one is prone to experiencing stress is influenced by various factors, including but not limited to genetics, coping mechanisms, personality type, level of social support, discrimination based on factors such as gender, race, perceived gender, LBGTQIA+ identity, socioeconomic status, childhood trauma, and profession. These factors can exacerbate the impact of stress on an individual’s physical and mental health, making it imperative to recognize and address them.

It is widely recognized that chronic stress can have a detrimental impact on one’s health. The long-term effects of stress can increase the likelihood of developing serious health conditions, such as heart disease, anxiety disorders, and depression.
